Okay, I’m jumping on this bandwagon initiated by that horrid ratbag, Suzi. 30 days of talking about myself, which should be interesting in itself as I do tend to be a little reticent about personal stuff. Hopefully, I’ll keep this going the full 30 days.

- I’m married with two small children, both under 4 years old.
- I’m a technology analyst for one of the country’s largest banks.
- As a hobby, I co-manage Guerrilla Geek, a website focusing on geek culture and news with an indie edge.
- Perhaps unsurprisingly, I’m a bit of a Twitter addict.
- I’m a big music nut and have really gotten into the indie music scene.
- I think most New Zealand music’s a bit shit, and loathe Dave Dobbyn’s music with a vengeance.
- I think Matt Smith is probably the best Doctor ever.
- I think eggs are total vom, and even the smell makes me queasy.
- Not everyone gets my sense of humour.
- I avoid Auckland like the pox-ridden city it is.
- I have The Wiggles on my home iPod - not mine, honest.
- I don’t like dogs. Yes, I’m a cat person.
- I have little patience for stupidity (that includes blind conservatism and zealotry).
- I have the kanji for “beloved daughter” tattooed in my inner forearm. I also have my Scots clan crest and a Celtic raven knot.
- I used to have both nipples pierced.
